Changing a car tire is a basic skill that every driver should possess. A flat tire can happen at any time, and being able to change it efficiently is essential for getting back on the road quickly and safely. Follow this step-by-step guide to safely and efficiently tyre change Dubai.

Find a safe location:

If possible, move your vehicle to a flat, level surface away from traffic. Engage the parking brake and turn on hazard lights to alert other drivers. Ensure you’re on a stable surface to safely lift the car with a jack.

Gather tools and materials:

Retrieve the spare tire, jack, lug wrench, wheel chocks, gloves, flashlight, and any additional tools from your car’s toolkit. Place the wheel chocks against the tires opposite the one you’re changing to prevent the vehicle from rolling.

Locate and access the spare tire:

Refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual to find the location of the spare tire. In most cases, it’s stored in the trunk or beneath the floor of the cargo area. Extract the spare tire and lay it flat near the flat tire.

Loosen lug nuts:

Using the lug wrench, loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire. Do this before lifting the car off the ground to ensure the nuts turn freely. Turn each lug nut counterclockwise but avoid removing them entirely at this stage.

Position the jack:

Identify the jack points specified in your owner’s manual. Place the jack under the vehicle, ensuring it makes firm contact with the designated lift point. If your car has a scissor jack, use the lug wrench to raise it. For a hydraulic jack, pump the handle until the car lifts off the ground.

Lift the vehicle:

Carefully raise the car until the flat tire is off the ground. Take note of the recommended height for placing the spare tire. Never crawl beneath the car when it’s supported only by the jack.

Remove the flat tire:

Once the car is elevated, use the lug wrench to fully remove the loosened lug nuts. Take off the flat tire and set it aside. Be cautious of the lug nuts, as they may fall off during this step.
